This 3–day workshop focuses the steps needed to create a rendered portrait drawing from a live model. Participants will be taken through a number of shorter poses in order to acquire and practice the important preliminary steps and to break down the process. A long pose is then set for the second part of the week. Materials and techniques are covered, as are important drawing fundamentals such as form, value (or tone), shape, contour, line, etc. Students of all levels are welcome.
